We spent a lot of time outside this weekend with our pup, but not any time hiking out in the woods. Therefore, I had to settle for some photo taking opportunities as we were driving along the Jamaicaway in Boston, on the way back from a romp in the park with Kaia's sister in the city. Besides Storrow Drive along the Charles, the Jamaicaway is arguably the most scenic drive through Boston. Yet, most tourists never make it over that way. If you ever are in the area, Arnold Arboreteum is a lovely place for a stroll. We were sad not to stop, but we'd already had a long day of fun.
Blurry abstract drive-by photography is one of those things I like, but I am never sure if others do too. This first one has a 1970s vibe to me. I think home decorators in the '70s were definitely inspired by fall, even if their decor was not quite as spectacular.
It seems like this fall is lastly longer than usual, although it won't last long enough.
