Credit goes to Dr. Karen Norberg, a child psychiatrist who knitted this brain in 1982 over the course of a year. She didn't make a pattern. I'm sure if she did many ambitious knitters would be duplicating her efforts. I, on the other hand, have had trouble finishing a sweater over the course of two years.

Even though I really like the graphic design in the above image, a depiction of my brain filled with men at board meetings and lonely women at switchboards makes me shutter. I'd prefer a handcrafted brain to an industrialized brain anyday.
