I picked Matt up this morning at 7:00am from the airport, so we're spending a much deserved day at home. Not to jinx anything, but I have exciting meeting this week which led me to spend part of the afternoon yesterday at the Boston College library reviewing intro to sociology textbooks. There are endless college libraries I could use in Boston, but Boston College has a gorgeous campus with beautiful gothic buildings so it's becoming a favorite place to visit. After doing my research, I took a long walk around the campus which was lovely and lush on a warm drizzly day. I'm continuing to work on an intro to sociology syllabus which I didn't have the opportunity to use last semester. We'll see if my luck changes this week.
Matt was up in New Brunswick again for a few days. Above is a view from his hotel room in Fredricton. I wasn't too keen on going back again after our December trip, but this photo made a revisit more enticing. He tried using this photo stitching software our visitor from Hong Kong gave him to put together a panorama. It didn't quite work, but somehow I like the results regardless.
